Over 26 years as a senior toxicologist for a large photographic manufacturing company.
Certified since 1987 in general toxicology by the American Board of Toxicology.
On-the-job experience includes:
- The conduct and interpretation of environmental and human health/risk assessments associated with product registrations in both the US and abroad.
- Development of novel bioanalytical methods for toxicokinetic analysis.
- Creation and use of structure-searchable databases of toxicological information and use of SAR (Structure Activity Relationship) programs and read-across methodologies for estimating hazards of untested chemicals.
- Preparation and review of health hazard summaries and test plans under the ICCA HPV (High Production Volume) voluntary program.
- Serving as study director for mammalian toxicology and ADME studies.
- Serving as Chairman of Eastman Kodak Company’s Institutional Animal Care and Use (IACUC) Committee.
- Performing consultative services as a member of toxicology research task groups for the American Chemistry Council.
- Author of many technical articles, presentations, and book chapters in the fields of Chemistry and Toxicology.
- Attendee and presenter at international meetings involved with hazard and risk assessments of large volume chemicals.
